Tips
- Avoid refuelling on islands when possible — mainland prices can be 15–20 cents cheaper.
- Athens and Thessaloniki suburbs are normally cheaper than central districts.
- Heating oil (πετρέλαιο θέρμανσης) is taxed differently — never confuse it with road diesel.

Watch out: Public rapid charging can cost as much as fuel; the saving depends on where you charge, not on the car alone.
