Methodology
- Fetch. Scheduled backend jobs pull data from each upstream provider on country-appropriate cadences.
- Validate. Every record must include valid coordinates, a name and at least one plausible price (€0.30–€4.99/L).
- Deduplicate. The upstream external ID is used as a stable key.
- Persist. Prices are snapshotted into a daily history table to drive the trend chart.
- Serve. Map and comparison views read via a cached edge endpoint with a 5-minute browser cache.
